Our history:

BG HOUSE is a manufacturer and builder of wooden prefabricated houses and constructions, based in Bratsigovo BULGARIA, and operates throughout Europe. We offer custom made wooden houses and constructions, extensions and renovations following the requirements for Low Consumption Buildings, as well as Passive houses.

The company was created in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Iliev who started the production of wooden carpentry in a small workshop. Over the years, they have developed their activity and successfully built the first prefabricated house in 1997.

Nowadays, the company is no longer a small workshop, but one of the largest manufacturers in Bulgaria for wooden prefabricated houses and constructions.

The company has ISO 9001:2017 quality controlled system of production. The wood that we use is FSC-certified. All materials are EU origin, with high quality. Our long experience and personal dedication will turn your project into beautiful realization.

Prefabricated technology

BG HOUSE manufactures custom wooden prefabricated houses, because your project is unique and could not fin into "a frame". All the constructions are unique and different, adapted to your plans and ideas. In our production there are no limits concerning the type of framework (prefabricated panels or post-beam framework), the type of insulation (mineral wool, rock wool, vegetable wool or wood fiber). The prefabricated houses and constructions have serious advantages in terms of insulation compared to traditional masonry, thanks to:

- the naturally insulating wooden frame structure; - the choice of high-performance insulation;

- good waterproofing.

For us, your prefab house or construction is much more than a home, a life project that we are proud to take care of.

Air tightness

A non-airtight wall in a house is synonymous to discomfort and over consumption of energy. Air leaks in the walls (air permeability of the walls) generate thermal bridges which are sources of heat losses. In new construction or in renovation, it is essential to design the house with good insulation , with quality air tightness. Ensuring air tightness of the external envelope means limiting parasitic air flows and being able to ensure the efficiency of the insulation and good management of the indoor air, in order to obtain a healthy, comfortable and sustainable living.

In this context, we use high quality air-tight materials and our assembly teams carry out quality control during the construction of the houses. Do not make compromise with the quality of the materials and with the execution of the work on the building site. All our houses are tested with Blower-door to ensure the air-tight.

Recent projects:

- Low consumption house in Bistritsa - Sofia, Bulgaria.

The house fully complied with the requirements of our customers and their ideas. BG HOUSE also uses part of the solid wood furniture for the house.

-36 pcs. of pergolas. Made of glulaminated wood, according the plans of the client. Installed in a apartment building in Sofia.

- Renovation of a house: installation of external joinery, wooden flooring, internal massif wood doors, furnitures made of massive wood.

Our factory

The factory is located in Bratsigovo (4579 - Bulgaria) on an area of 10,000 m2 production premises, par of total of 20,000 m2. Family owned business and managed until today by Mr. and Mrs. Iliev and their children. The company aims to offer high quality services and products, develops new activities and improves the production technologies, to satisfy customers and innovate.
